Scott E. Isaacson – Regional Advisor for Latin America, International Center for Law and Religion Studies, Brigham Young University

Scott Isaacson is Senior Fellow with the International Center for Law and Religion Studies of the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University, and a member of the International section of the law firm Kirton McConkie. He advises domestic and foreign businesses and not-for-profit organizations regarding all aspects of international trade and business, with specific emphasis in Latin America. He previously served as International Legal Counsel for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, supervising all of the church’s legal work in South America. As part of this position, he managed international real estate acquisitions and construction, complex litigation and international arbitration, international tax compliance for not-for-profit organizations, government relations, and legal implementation of new programs. On a regular basis, he makes presentations at international seminars held in countries such as Chile, Argentina, and Mexico about legal matters related to non-profit and religious organizations. ┬áIsaacson is recognized as one of Utah’s Legal Elite in international law.
